Manzanar Baseball Project
Great Leap is a nonprofit that bridges cultural practices to communities through dance, performance, and art. The Manzanar Baseball Project involves the restoration of the WWII-era baseball field at the Manzanar National Historic Site to shed light on the profound significance of baseball as a symbol of resilience, cultural identity and community spirit in the face of injustice.
I was contracted by Great Leap to create baseball cards, social post, and short reels that captured the impact of the project.
Vintage Social Media Graphics For Instagram
Great Leap requested graphics that are inspired by vintage graphics and baseball culture that would pay homage to the historical and modern aspects of baseball as a form of play and community. The requested graphics were vintage styled graphics and a collage to summarize the event.
Baseball Cards
Great Leap wanted to lean into Baseball Culture and find creative ways to promote the event in addition to documenting and commemorating those involved. As a result we agreed that creating promotion baseball cards that highlighted Japanese-American players would be a fun and exciting way to achieve these goals.

Social Reels
To share the results of the Manzanar Baseball Project with followers, investors, stakeholders, and supporters- we created reels that highlighted the importance of the project and the impact it is having on communities and various generations of people.
